This page includes a number of tutorials to help you get to grips with the various GroupRates functions.
Glossary
This section lets you set up promotions for your packages (e.g., “book early and get 15% off”).
This section allows you to set the destinations you will use to create your packages. It is imperative that you use the IATA codes for the destinations (e.g. Montreal = YUL), and that you use the same codes throughout your ResLynx ecosystem, so that the different solutions synchronize.
Allows you to set the attendants assigned to your different packages.
Allows you to set the different types of occupancy for your packages (single, double, etc.).
Allows you to set the type of accommodation included in your packages (e.g., sea-view cabin, room with balcony, etc.).
Allows you to set the departure locations for your packages (where your customers meet their escorts, their departure airports, etc.).
Allows you to set the itineraries of your packages.
Allows you to set the various taxes that apply to your packages.
Allows you to configure the suppliers you use in your packages.
Allows you to configure the equipment included with your packages (golf bags, bikes, surfboards, etc.).
Allows you to set the different seats available in your packages and their inclusions (e.g. VIP, regular, elite).
Allows you to set group sizes and compositions (e.g., 40 PAX bus, 100 PAX plane, etc.).
This is where you can create your packages. You can also create package sub-categories (sun packages, golf packages, discovery packages, etc.).
In this section, you can determine the different elements you wish to add to your packages to facilitate their sale.
This section allows you to configure the organizations with which you are in business and that go into creating your packages.
This section allows you to configure the deviations from configured packages you may with to add (for instance, a rebate of $1000 if a person choses to use the package without transportation).
This section allows you to configure your currencies, and keep your exchange rates up-to-date.
This section allows you to configure your agency’s departments and assign different packages/routes/guides to different departments.
This section allows you to configure sub-departments.
This section allows you to configure the different documents (such as Terms and Conditions, Liability informations, etc.) that you may wish to add to your different packages. It can also act as a documents repository.
